Polka Theatre presents My Brother, My Sister and Me, written and directed by Sarah Argent. Argent directs Leona Allen (Sister) and Craig Gazey (Brother) in the production now currently showing until 11 February. Check out a trailer for the show below!

With a new baby in the family, a little sister has to move in with her big brother. This playful new show from the creators of Shake Rattle and Roll and Grandad, Me... and Teddy Too! is based on Argent's conversations with young children about their own sibling relationships.

Sarah Argent is an award-winning writer and director specialising in theatre for the very young. Since 2001, she has been an associate of Cardiff -based Theatr Iolo. Her productions for the company have been performed across the UK and in Australia, Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Finland, India and South Korea. She has also created productions for Unicorn Theatre, Theatre Hullabaloo, the National Theatre, Welsh National Opera, BarnStorm Theatre (Kilkenny), Sherman Cymru, Tam Tam Theatre, M6 Theatre, Clwyd Theatr Cymru and Compagnia Frec a Frec (Barcelona). She is delighted to be back at Polka after the success of Shake, Rattle and Roll and Grandad, Me .... & Teddy Too in 2014.

Leona Allen plays Sister. Her recent credits include The Crucible (SellADoor UK & Luxembourg Tour) Pride and Prejudice (Crucible Theatre), The Walworth Farce (Olympia Theatre, Dublin), Girls Like That (Unicorn Theatre), Enduring Song (Southwark Playhouse), Dead Grass (Arcola Theatre) and Sixteen (Theatre 503).

Craig Gazey plays Brother. His recent theatre credits include The Hypochondriac (Theatre Royal Bath and UK tour), The Full Monty (West End), The Night Before Christmas (Soho Theatre) and My Generation (West Yorkshire Playhouse). His work for television includes Coronation Street as series regular Graeme Proctor and Criminal Justice.

Operating for over 35 years, Polka is one of the UK's leading theatre venues for children ages 0 - 14. Over 90,000 children, along with their families and teachers, from across London and the South East visit each year to see inspiring, new theatre including plays, opera, dance, digital theatre and puppetry as well as interactive storytelling and creative learning workshops.
