Tyne Theatre and Opera House to Welcome Frantic Assembly

The Tyne Theatre and Opera House is playing host to international renowned Frantic Assembly this summer for a highly physical and energetic drama workshop exploring the movement devised for the multi award winning National-Theatre production of THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME.

The musical, which won seven Olivier Awards and is hailed a phenomenal combination of storytelling and spectacle is visiting the Sunderland Empire Theatre this August and Nice Swan Theatre Company are pleased to be working in conjunction with Frantic Assembly and the Tyne Theatre to bring this fantastic opportunity to Newcastle on Friday 14th August.

Frantic Assembly creates thrilling, energetic and unforgettable theatre and attracts new and young audiences with work that reflects contemporary culture. Vivid and dynamic, Frantic's unique physical style combines movement, design, music and text. In the workshop, participants will fly through the air, get lost at Swindon Station and uncover the everyday moments in the character Christopher Boon's world as well as learn new skills for devised projects and how to create movement led work quickly and simply through their building block approach.
