For one night only, Tron Theatre Company presents Nowhere, a promenade show.

In the fading memory of his Arches roots, Andy Arnold and his troupe will take guests on an absurd journey down corridors and up stairwells, under seating banks, into lifts and through backstage passages to meet strange characters reciting even stranger stories.

Harking back to I Confess (2005) and 2006's Spend A Penny (performed in the toilets of The Arches), the series of surreal encounters in will culminate in a stage work of Samuel Beckett's Breath. The evening's performers will include Martin McCormick, Spilt Milk, Carrie Skinner and Andy Edwards.

Andy Arnold: "Responding to space was my raison d'être at The Arches, and this production will take audiences out the comfort zone of theatre spaces into strange settings for wonderful performances."

This theatrical experience, a nod to Beckett, existentialism, surrealism, with a bit of Dada for good measure, will show you parts of the Tron and parts of yourselves you may never have seen before.

Nowhere is part of Take Me Somewhere, a new citywide festival of contemporary performance that builds on the legacy of The Arches arts programme.
