Actor and comedian, Tom Lenk (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Transformers, Broadway's Rock of Ages), is giving the UK what it really wants - an alternative comedy/storytelling show live in London!
Tom's onstage shenanigans, described by audiences as "the best way to spend a Saturday night other than getting laid"; reveal the harrowing, humiliating and hilarious nature of life on the Broadway stage. This is guaranteed to be a hodge-podge, prop-tastic, show-and-tell, song-and-dance, unconventional and over-theatrical night.
Thanks to requests on Facebook, Twitter and a "Request Tom in your City" function on his website, Tom has been bringing his live show to the very cities that have demanded to be Lenk-invaded and London is next on the list.
Tom is best known for his portrayal of
Andrew in TV's Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. The San Francisco Examiner named Tom one of the "top ten scene-stealers on television", E!Online named him the "Breakout Male Star" and TV Guide placed him on their coveted Emmy wish list.
Tom received critical acclaim in the West Coast premiere of Amy and
David Sedaris' The Book of Liz, which became L.A.'s longest running comedy. Constantly churning out new and original works for the LA Comedy Scene, Tom's play Save Me from My Sister ran to rave reviews at the Hudson Backstage Theater. He has also performed/written numerous solo comedy shows including Internet-Semi Superstar, Will You Be My Special Friend? and
Tom Lenk's Last Minute Show which sold out at the Comedy Central Stage, ACME and other theatre's across the US and Canada.
'It is Tom‘s mastery of comedy that really makes this show a must see.'
