Tickets are now on sale for National Theatre Wales' 18th production, The Radicalisation of Bradley Manning. This multimedia show will be performed in schools across Wales 12th-21st April 2012, starting with Bradley's own Tasker Milward V C School in Haverfordwest. Further dates will be announced in the new year.

Bradley Manning is the 24-year-old US soldier accused of the release of thousands of US embassy emails to Wikileaks. On Friday, his pre-trial hearing opened in Fort Meade in Maryland – his first court appearance since he was arrested in May 2010. Manning faces a maximum sentence of life in custody with no chance of parole. But just a few years ago, he was a teenager in west Wales. How does his story impact on the people he left behind, and who is responsible for his 'radicalisation'?

Following the hugely successful run of his last play, Salt, Root & Roe produced by the Donmar Warehouse as part of the Donmar Trafalgar season, Tim Price teams up with National Theatre Wales to tackle one of the biggest political stories of our age.

Writer Tim Price's theatre credits include: Salt Root and Roe (Donmar Warehouse, Trafalgar Studios), For Once (Pentabus, Hampstead Theatre), Will and George Shortlisted for the Verity Bargate Award 2011, Café Cariad (National Youth Theatre of Wales) as well as short plays for Paines Plough, Theatre 503, the Royal Court, Sherman Cymru and Dirty Protest.
