Three original events at the St. James Studio will cater for everybody this Valentine's Day, from couples to theatregoers to budding playwrights. Or simply for groups of friends lusting after nothing more than a good night out!
A VALENTINE FROM A2Z
Friday 14 February, doors from 7pm
Delicious food, chilled Champagne, timeless love songs, passion, sensuality, laughter and romance...all the things an unforgettable Valentine's Day should have!
2013 Olivier Award-winning actress Leigh Zimmerman and rock musician & Las Vegas headliner Domenick Allen will celebrate Valentine's Day with a very special evening of gourmet food, champagne and their show A VALENTINE FROM A2Z at the St. James Studio on Friday 14 February at 8.30pm.
They return to the St. James Studio after their acclaimed sold-out performance in October of last year, which opened the London Festival of Cabaret.
Leigh is a current nominee for a 2014 What's On Stage Award (for her performance in A Chorus Line at the Palladium), and Domenick has been touring with his concert VINYL - The Classic Rock Experience. They just happen to have been happily married for 20 years, and will draw from their disparate worlds of Theatre and Rock to create a truly unique evening of music and comedy dedicated to the celebration of Love.
Special packages are available to suit every taste and budget:

The Day: Valentine's Day 1953. The Weapon: Champagne. The Crime: Murder!
"Surprise, darling!" It's Valentine's Day and a perfect day for homicide. What better weapon than a full bottle of Moet's best? But as Lizzie escapes the scene of the crime for one final turn on the dance floor, she soon discovers that this particular Valentine's Day has one big surprise of its own!
This riveting new play is a funny, erotic and ultimately moving portrait of a woman's unconventional response to love, sex and '50s Britain.
Contains strong language and adult themes.
Playwriting Workshop: Love, Lovers & Love Stories
Saturday 15 February at 10am
Following the incredibly popular first playwriting workshop that took place in December, award winning playwright and tutor Phil Setren, of London New Play Festival, will guide participants through the creation of a character, a story and find ways to bring their unique life experience to the stage.
Classic and modern stories of love spark this playwriting workshop, which explores affairs of the heart, of the head and some below the belt.
