This December, Theatre503 provides a feast of alternative Christmas entertainment with double bill of shows not for the easily offended. Following their sell out smash at the Edinburgh Fringe in BORIS AND SERGEY'S VAUDEVILLIAN XMAS ADEVENTURE, puppetry's Balkan bad boys Boris & Sergey are hoping to capitalise on their eight five star reviews, while MARGARET THATCHER QUEEN OF SOHO sees Matt Tedford pulling on the tights once more as he returns to Theatre503 after huge acclaim from the Thatcherwrite festival earlier this year. Both productions can be seen individually or together at Battersea's Theatre503 from 10 December 2013.

Presented by Flabbergast Theatre, BORIS AND SERGEY'S VAUDEVILLIAN XMAS ADEVENTURE follows the riotous exploits of Boris and Sergey. Simply the greatest vaudevillian double act ever conceived for the small stage. They present for your viewing pleasure an improvised crossover cabaret featuring Bunraku puppetry and character comedy for discerningly twisted adult audiences. Expect riotous exploits, malarkey, mirth and molestation!

Formed in 2010 Flabbergast Theatre was set up to make uncompromising and exciting physical theatre in a belief that all theatre should be engaging and sweaty. Exploring puppetry for adult audiences, breaking the preconception that puppetry is a children's medium.

Written by Jon Brittain and Matt Tedford, MARGARET THATCHER QUEEN OF SOHO is a hilarious camp odyssey in which the eponymous Prime Minister gets lost in Soho on the eve of the vote for Section 28 and accidentally become an overnight cabaret sensation. MARGARET THATCHER QUEEN OF SOHO is a joyous romp about the difference an individual could have made with a sideswipe as homophobia and censorship.

Jon Brittain is a playwright, comedy writer, director and one of the 503Five. His work for theatre includes Phillipa and Will are Now in a Relationship and The Sexual Awakening of Peter Mayo, he co-wrote a dozen episodes of Cartoon Network's BAFTA and Emmy award winning show The Amazing World of Gumball, and he directed comedian John Kearns' Fosters Newcomer winning show Sight Gags for Perverts.
