The West End's Newest Cabaret Venue, The Space, Launches With The World Premiere Of Adult Panto JACK OFF THE BEANSTALK  Image

The Space, a brand new cabaret venue in the heart of London's West End within Studio 88, 47 Whitcomb St, London WC2, is launching with the world premiere of adult panto Jack Off the Beanstalk by Tom Whalley directed by Drew Baker (Zanna Don't!), in a five-week season from Saturday 1 December - Sunday 6 January.

The cast is headed by British Youtuber, musician and presenter Doug Armstrong as Jack. Doug is a YouTube content creator, and presenter who has reached over 400,000 followers across all his social media channels. He famously dealt with his sexuality in his EP It's Okey to Be Gay.

Cast: Doug Armstrong (Jack), Keiran Wynne (Fleshlight), Drew Baker (Dame Trott), Jessica Brady (Fairy Hanny), Millie Longhurst (Princess Jill), Macauley Burns (alternate Dame Trott).

Full creative team to be announced.

Doug Armstrong (Jack)
Globe-trotting content creator, comedy songwriter & presenter Doug Armstrong has been sharing his gay life to his online audience for a number of years. Since first opening up about his sexuality in 2015, Doug has sought to inspire others to be comfortable being themselves, whatever their sexuality, and reminds everyone through his lighthearted comedy songs that it really is 'Okay To Be Gay'. When not singing to his 400,000 following or producing other LGBT-related content, you'll probably find Doug traveling the world posting photos to Instagram that might just make you want to visit somewhere sunny.

Keiran Wynne (Fleshlight)
Kieran trained at The MGA Academy of Performing Arts in Edinburgh, Scotland. Theatre credits include; Jessie James/Puppeteer in "Around the World in 80 Days" (Union Theatre), Featured Vocalist in "World of Musicals" (German Tour), Ensemble/Puppeteer in "Metropolis the Musical" (London Revival).

Drew Baker (Dame Trott)
Drew trained at London School of Musical Theatre and has consistently worked as a performer and director ever since. Drew's select directing credits include: Zanna Don't! (Landor Theatre), Children of Eden (The Prince of Wales Theatre, West End), The Mikado (Battersea Barge), The Last Five Years (The Tabard Theatre), Sweeney Todd (Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff) and Songs For A New World (New Players Theatre, London). Drew has directed and performed in various Pantomimes, summer seasons, concerts and reviews across the UK, US and Europe.

Jessica Brady (Fairy Hanny)
Jessica has a BA in Performance from Northumbria University. Theatre Credits Include: Sylvia in Stepping Out (The Brockley Jack) Delphina in Twang!! (Union Theatre) Amanda in 2 Become 1 (Vault festival, Edinburgh Fringe Gilded Balloon & King's Head Theatre); Sylphbena the Faerie in Beans (Canal Cafe Theatre); Lucy in Restless (Theatre 503); Choir Girl in Max and Ivan Reunion (Pleasance Dome), NewsRevue (Canal Cafe Theatre and Edinburgh Fringe Pleasance). TV includes The Honey Buns on Britain's Got Talent 2015.

Millie Longhurst (Princess Jill)
Training: The London School of Musical Theatre. Theatre includes: Ensemble/u/s Skylar in Bring It On (Southwark Playhouse).

Macauley Burns (alternate Dame Trott)
Macauley is making his professional debut.
