Thrilling entertainment for all the family awaits visitors at next weekend's Cheshire Fest, which returns for 2017 after a successful launch last year.
Festivalgoers of all ages will come together to celebrate the end of Summer in style with family fun, entertainment, music, and food and drink over the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, 23 and 24 September.
And even better, the family friendly festival has free entry for children aged 16 and under. Adult tickets start at just £10 (plus booking fee).
The two-day festival has a new home for 2017 when it is staged at Manchester Rugby Club in Cheadle Hulme, where there will also be a fantastic range of events aimed at younger visitors.
The fun starts at 11am on both days, with a full main stage programme continuing with live entertainment throughout the day.
Expect madness and mayhem at the Everybody Party, where balloon making, songs, fun and games are the order of the day. While Roy The Caricaturist will be drawing amusing portraits in a matter of minutes - big smiles now!
Youngsters are invited to dress up as their favourite fairytale characters when Princesses Of The World entertain festivalgoers with top Disney tunes. This is definitely going to be a family favourite.
Join the Imperial Order 66 UK and their iconic Star Wars characters, who are so accurate and true to movie life - which is sure to prove popular with the grown-ups as well as youngsters. Festivalgoers are invite to pose for photographs with their favourite galactic giants.
And don't miss Darkside Promotions who also have a special treat for sci-fi fans when they stir up a storm and stage a dramatic re-enactment - so join them for a trip to the dark side.
Gasp at the amazing talents of Bring The Fire Project as they showcase thrilling circus skills. Free flow, poi and balancing tricks are just a few of the amazing talents they will be demonstrating. There'll also be a circus skills workshop to teach youngsters some of the safer tricks of the trade. Bring The Fire Project will also be closing the Kids Stage with a spectacular fire show.
The festival fairground includes rides and attractions for all the family, from games for the little ones to fast moving fun for thrill seekers.
Get ready to go on an adventure on Thomas the Choo Choo Train Ride. Or sing along to the smash-hit song on Frozen Chairs Ride - but be prepared to get covered in snow!
Youngsters will love the giant inflatable Disney Slide and Disney Bouncy Dome, and there's a chance to hone your skills on the bungee trampolines and see how high you can bounce.
There are also games for youngsters of all ages, with a chance to take home a prize on the hook-a-duck or other traditional games available.
Not for the faint-hearted is the Twister Ride, spinning the most daring around at over 45mph, and a Jump and Smile Ride which hits speeds of around 30mph and reaches heights of 25ft as it leaps up and down and round and round. There is also a magical Mini Waltzer, suitable for visitors of all ages and small family groups.
The programme also includes live music for everyone, including special appearances by the stars of The Voice: Kids UK - Victoria, Jake, Lewis and Lil' T. The youngsters wowed millions of TV viewers with their impressive performances on the hit show, as well as judges Pixie Lott, Will.I.Am, Tom Jones and Danny O'Donoghue. Don't miss them perform live at Cheshire Fest.
The young TV stars will be joined by lots more new talent, who Cheshire Fest is delighted to support. These include Girl Talk, a six-piece girl band from Liverpool whose high energy dance routines and bubbly vocal performances are sure to get the crowd moving.
Seventeen-year-old Rosita has already released an EP on iTunes, see her live. Aleya Mae, also aged 17, is also making waves on the North West music scene as a talented singer songwriter. While Taylor Ashcroft is excited to be performing at Cheshire Fest, and hopes that her musical journey will take her round the world one day.
On Saturday, the #RememberWhen Main Stage plays host to Cheshire's finest tribute acts including Want You Back (Take That tribute), Dan East is Ed SHeeran, Be-Beyonce, MJ Mimms (Michael Jackson), and Elvis. Joining the line-up are some of Cheshire's finest local artists Leon Meya and The Sound, as well as Britain's Got Talent finalists' MD Productions.
Sunday's musical programme is sure to get the crowds rocking as the #FestivalAnthems Main Stage delivers rock anthems. Line-up includes Antarctic Monkeys, Oashish, The Absolute Stone Roses, and Yellow (Coldplay tribute). Local artists Nolan and Leon Meya complete Sunday's main stage line-up.
A great way to round off the day is the Shush Silent Disco. Dance and enjoy all the fun together whatever your musical preference with this fun attraction. Choose from three channels on headphones and party with your fellow festival goers - great fun guaranteed.
Throughout the weekend, tantalise your taste buds at the Street Food Village where you can enjoy gourmet street food and international cuisine, and look out for the Mini Beer Fest and Fever Tree Gin Garden.

Philip Osborne and Ben Harris are the creators of Cheshire Fest. The event first launched in 2016 at Bramhall Cricket Club in Stockport - and both directors have a long line of experience in the festival and events industries with concession management and recruitment.
Orb Events are instructed as the event management and project development team for the 2017 event.
