This summer The Point, Eastleigh presents an Outdoor Cinema triple-bill, inviting audiences to enjoy three fantastic films on the venue's Garden Stage.
Running Thursday 19th to Saturday 21st July, The Point's Outdoor Cinema strand screens three acclaimed films outside as the sun sets over Eastleigh. The screenings will be accompanied by a handmade Pop-up Bar serving a selection of snacks and drinks, including locally-sourced beers.
The series launches with Minima: The Lodger. Directed by Alfred Hitchcock the British is accompanied here with a stunning live score by Minima; a live music collective who have been performing at cinematic events for more than ten years.
Pride is screened on night two. Starring an ensemble cast of British actors, including Bill Nighy and Andrew Scott, this true story of LGBT activists supporting the British Miners Strike in 1984 is both witty and moving.
The programme closes with Saturday Night Fever; a cult classic starring John Travolta and featuring a much-loved soundtrack by The BeeGees.
