"It's close to midnight and something evil's lurking in the dark
Under the moonlight you see a sight that almost stops your heart
You try to scream, but terror takes the sound before you make it
You start to freeze as horror looks you right between the eyes
You're paralyzed...."

The lyrics to Michael Jackson's iconic THRILLER alway set off screams as the Thriller Live zombies crash into the Lyric Theatre auditorium - especially around Halloween.

Right now, the theatre itself is looking very spooky after its annual Halloween makeover...

Since the show opened in 2009, Thriller Live has invited an educational institute to exhibit Halloween-themed artwork in the bars of its West End home.

This year, students from The Limes College have transformed the theatre's bars into a celebration of vodou. Persecuted in Haiti, Vodouists saw Vodou banned, faced anti-superstition campaigns and were forced to convert to Christianity. Vodou has been distorted in the mass media and portrayed as devil worship. The students have been using inspiration from Haitian Artists and the Loas (spirits) to create work that does not perpetuate stereotypes or reinforce prejudice.

The Limes College is an Outstanding Pupil Referral Unit in Sutton, Surrey, working with young people to achieve their full potential. At the heart of the College is respect; this involves students belonging and forming positive relationships with each other, parents, staff and the wider community.

Head of Art Laura Wareing said: "We are all very excited to show the talents of our students in our exhibition at The Lyric Theatre, it is a culmination of six weeks of hard work for students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The work completed by those in Key Stage 4 will be entered as part of their coursework for their GSCEs. 100% of year 11 involved in last year's project achieved an A-C grade in their Art and Design GSCE. It was a great source of pride that we were invited back for a second year and such was the success that we are discussing a valentine's theme for next February."

The exhibition runs to Sunday 30 October and is displayed throughout the Lyric Theatre.
