Christmas is coming to Manchester - and the magical Winter Wonderland is now only two months away.
The event, the UK's largest indoor winter wonderland Christmas attraction, will open its doors on Saturday December 9, transforming 22,000sq m of EventCity in to a sparking seasonal spectacular featuring more than 50 family rides and attractions, all under one roof.
Tickets are already being snapped up for the event which promises to sprinkle festive magic over the whole of Manchester.
At the heart of the winter wonderland, festive fans will find Santa's house, transported from the North Pole to the city and where visitors will be able to explore the hallway, lounge, dining room, kitchen and bedroom. There will also be real reindeer, as well as elves and fairies - who will be ready to have s-elfies taken with youngsters.
Other highlights of the 24-day Christmas extravaganza include Rainbow's irrepressible duo Zippy and George, bringing magic, mayhem and comedy capers, and the brilliant Christmas Circus which will leave everyone stunned and amazed at its daily performances.
And if you have been inspired by the amazing acrobatic acts and feats of daring, there is also an opportunity to try out your own circus skills in special workshops on site.
Meanwhile there will be a chance for children to create their own amazing models in the interactive building block zone.
There will also be a host of other fun things to do and see including the thrilling rides and attractions, which are all included in one ticket price.
Pip Ahoy! returns to the Winter Wonderland after last year, again bringing a little bit of Salty Cove to Manchester. Pip will be around to meet and greet visitors who will be able to enjoy playing on the real sand or relaxing in a deckchair.
Winter Wonderland is now in its fifth consecutive year, and organisers Kingpin Events are promising 2017 will be bigger, better, bolder and more sparkly than ever.
Visitors are being asked to leave a little extra time this season due to security checks on site.
