After great success at Ireland's Abbey Theatre, a hit international tour and a Scotsman Fringe First Award at Edinburgh, Mark O'Rowe (Boy A, Intermission, Howie The Rookie) brings his exhilarating urban fantasy to the Young Vic.

The streets of Dublin - and the skies above - are the scene for an extraordinary chain of events, as three lives collide over a single unforgettable night of temptation, damnation, rebirth and redemption. Lovesick demons, avenging angels and golden-voiced serial killers combine and conspire to alter these three lives forever.

Mark O'Rowe is one of Ireland's most influential contemporary writers. His second play Howie the Rookie won the George Devine Award when it premiered at the Bush Theatre in 1999. Other plays include Crestfall, From Both Hips, Anna's Ankle and Made in China. For screen, he wrote the feature film Intermission and adapted Jonathan Trigell's novel Boy A for Channel 4. It won the Broadcast Award for Best Single Drama, the Broadcasting Guild Award for Best Single Drama and four jury awards at the Dinard British Film Festival.

Terminus was commissioned by The Abbey Theatre where it had its world premiere in 2007.
