A team of biking enthusiasts from the Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG) are set to take part in theMoonriders London to Brighton cycle challenge on Friday 12 July 2013 - a unique 100km night-time charity bike ride.

Team ATG consisting of Diane Newnham (Customer Experience Director), Luke Hudson (Deputy Theatre Manager Apollo Victoria), David Bradbury (Group Press Officer), Max Bittleston (Production Accounts Assistant), Imogen Sarre (SEO and Content Executive, Digital Marketing), Patrick Kennedy(Digital Sales and Marketing Executive) and David Rudin (from the cast of Viva Forever!) will be raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

From the capital to the coast, Team ATG will join hundreds of florescent riders and experience the renowned route in the magnificence of a moonlit night. Starting in Stratford, East London, the team will conquer the infamous hill of Ditchling Beacon, climbing to one of the highest points on the South Downs. As they pedal closer to the finish line, the sun will begin to rise, and they will be welcomed in by friends and supporters.

Diane Newham, Customer Experience Director, said "David and I were chatting at an event in January and discovered we both had a passion for bike riding. One conversation led to another and before we knew it we had decided to take part in the race and see if we could get an ATG team together. I had cancer a few years ago and am fully recovered now so Macmillan is close to my heart. Thankfully, I am here to tell my tale but I know they do fantastic work for people less fortunate than me so we are appealing to people to please dig deep and sponsor us."

Team ATG have also received support from a number of suppliers. Diane added, "Our nominated supplier for chocolates (Kraft) has generously donated £500 towards the event (via their Kenco brand) and Britvic have given the riders 20 cases of energy drinks to help with their training for the event. We've also had fantastic donations from our nominated distributor, 3663, our ice cream supplier, Beechdean and the Glass Opera Company. We'd like to thank all these companies for their help."

John Baldock, General Manager at Theatre Royal Brighton and his team will also be supporting the riders at the finish line and are planning a welcome party at the theatre and photographer Paul Clapp from Limelight Studios, kindly donated his time to take Team ATG's official photos outside the Houses of Parliament in London.
