Tania Czajka's Lapin Wants Ice Cream plays at the Iambic Arts Theatre (venue 99) as part of the Brighton Fringe Festival, May 5 to 10.

After success with the Edinburgh Fringe 11 audiences and critics alike, the lovely rabbit arrives in Brighton. Lapin, the thirsty French rabbit, only wants one thing to quench his thirst. Find out what in this fun, interactive puppet show in English, with carefully chosen and repeated French keywords.

The story, designs and puppets are created by Tania Czajka. No knowledge of French is needed. The show is supported by Puppet Animation Scotland. The show links to the National Curriculum.

The puppet theatre company Le Petit Monde has been developed by Tania Czajka, a native French speaker and qualified nursery nurse, living in Scotland for over 20 years.

Since its creation in 2008, Le Petit Monde has introduced many children to the French language throughout the UK, with performances in schools, nurseries and theatres (as part of various festivals).
