Gods and Monsters have made a last minute change to their repertoire this summer, offering 20,000 free seats to a family production celebrating Poland's mythology.

The production plays The Scoop, London Bridge City, SE1 2DB from Wednesday 31st August to Sunday 25th September 2016. Press Night: Friday 2nd September, 6pm.

Phil Willmott says, This summer we are delighted to now be presenting a big family show celebrating one of Poland's most enduring legends. We are very proud of our proven track record playing to London's youngest and most culturally diverse audience by sharing the great works of our capital's various communities to 40,000 people a year.

Collaborating with Polish theatre maker Nastazja Domaradzka, Gods and Monsters will bring to life Krakow's Dragon of Wawel, one of Poland's most enduring, much loved and iconic myths. The Wawel Dragon, adapted and directed by Nastazja Domaradzka and Phil Willmott, will tell the story of the ingenious, witty and daring folk who tried to defeat the dragon beneath Wawel Castle which is, to this day, one of Poland's most popular visitor attractions.

The Wawel Dragon will play alongside a new rock musical of Dostoyevsky's Crime and Punishment, with songs by the legendary Toyah Willcox and her song-writing partner Simon Darlow.
