THE ROCKY Horror Show, the world's favourite rock 'n' roll musical, returns to Canterbury next month.
The iconic characters in Richard O'Brien's classic will be played at The Marlowe Theatre by X Factor finalist Diana Vickers (Janet), S Club 7's Paul Cattermole (Eddie and Dr Scott), comedian Norman Pace (Narrator), and The Voice's Liam Tamne (Dr Frank N Furter). Rocky tour stalwarts Richard Meek (Brad), and Kristian Lavercombe (Riff Raff).
Diana, who starred in the stage version of The Rise and Fall of Little Voice, said: "I'm really enjoying playing Janet, and I'm excited that I will get the opportunity to extend my time in Rocky as we continue to tour the UK. There's definitely no show like The Rocky Horror Show - no other musical like it - and I'm delighted to continue my run."
The Rocky Horror Show was first performed on 19 June 1973 at The Royal Court Theatre, London, and hasn't stopped ever since: it has been performed worldwide for more than 40 years in over 30 countries and translated into more than 20 languages. Many stars, including Russell Crowe, Tim Curry, Jerry Springer and Meatloaf, have appeared in The Rocky Horror Show over the past four decades.

It tells the story of Brad and his fiancée Janet, two squeaky-clean college kids who meet Dr Frank N Furter by chance when their car breaks down outside his house whilst on their way to visit their former college professor. It is an adventure they'll never forget, with fun, frolics, frocks, and frivolity, bursting with timeless songs and outrageous outfits.
Directed by Christopher Luscombe, The Rocky Horror Show is a guaranteed party, which famously combines science-fiction, horror, comedy and music and encourages audience participation and dressing up! This musical extravaganza features all of its famous musical classics including Science Fiction/Double Feature, Dammit Janet and the timeless floor-filler, The Time-Warp.
