TELESCOPE to Play Buta Festival 2015

A production of Elchin's play Telescope is set to receive its world premiere in English when it is staged as part of the Buta Festival 2015 next month.

The Azeri-writer's immersive work will be produced by Aloff Theatre at Battersea's Testbed1, for a limited run and is part of Buta's varied schedule that is celebrating Azerbaijani arts and culture.

Opening on Wednesday 25 February, Telescope will be directed by Matthew Gould, whose directorial work includes plays, musicals, opera and more recently pilots of film and TV. Gould recently directed a successful run of Elchin's My Favourite Madman in London and Edinburgh.

Casting is currently underway, and full details will be released at a later date.
