Tea for Two is described as a fast-paced camp comedy show featuring over 25 sketches squeezed into 60 minutes. Edinburgh Fringe regular Dickie and West-End musical performer Dave unleash a menagerie of random characters and the battle of serious comedy vs. musical entertainment begins. Together they bring back the hilarity of the great British double act with their own fresh twist.

Sunday 12th May 3pm, Sunday 19th May 8.30pm and Sunday 2nd June 8.30pm Upstairs at Three and Ten, 10 Steine Street, Brighton BN2 1TE.

Tea for Two sees the debut of Dickie (Richard Foster-King) and Dave (David McMullan). The dynamic of the characters is borne out of 11 years of friendship and an exaggeration of their real interests in acting (Dickie) vs. musical theatre (Dave). Studying their double-act idols (Morecambe and Wise, French and Saunders and The Two Ronnies) they were able to develop their own straight man and fall guy.

Tea for Two gets its name from a repeater sketch where we get the chance to listen in to the pair playing out random occupations during their tea break, including vampires, cowboys and Santa's elves.

Tea for Two has a strong musical theatre feel with a live pianist (Mark Stanford) and a handful of musical interludes including an alternative take on Disney, with a sketch called 'Disney Housewives'. Arial (Little Mermaid) and Belle (Beauty and the Beast) fall in love..... with each other. The sketch also features a tongue in cheek narration intro by musical theatre royalty, Scarlett Strallen.

Not wanting to ignore their local roots (David is from Worthing and Richard from Eastbourne) the duo decided to ignore the lure of Edinburgh Fringe for the show's debut. In addition co-writer and the show's Producer Jo Davies lives in Brighton and was keen to support the Brighton community.

After a successful Fringe Preview show on 14th April (audience reviews can be viewed at www.lovefringe.com/events/comedy/Tea-for-Two) the duo are itching to perform in their first fringe together.
