The worse the world gets, the funnier Stuart Black gets. So there's good news and bad news.

The bad news is that the world is totally f**ked, the good news is Stuart Black is on the form of his life and returns to the fringe with his funniest show to date.

Underground cult comedian and fringe veteran Stuart Black comes to Edinburgh Fringe for the twelfth time, and following a break, he is more on form than ever.

It's safe to say that Black has lived a unique, flamboyant life; a reformed-partier with a rebel streak, he has had more than his fair share of reckless, self-destructive dalliances with drugs and alcohol and has lived life to the extreme, one year living in a van, another working in software for Microsoft. Stuart Black certainly has a broad perspective on life, and will delight audiences with his usual dark and eloquent look at his story.

But Black is also getting older, his hair is falling out and sometimes he thinks "Oh god, can I really bothered to be alive?"

Of course, this isn't helped by the news and twitter, and like many of us he often finds himself shouting "Oh for f-cks SAKE!" at the screen.

It is most definitely the end of the world as we know it, and Black will cover it all: political correctness, politics, the rise of the right-wing and the (apparent) insanity and collapse of the left-wing. Stuart Black is most certainly back, even if our world is currently crumbling.

Stuart Black's social commentary is truthful, intelligent and eloquent - his style and intelligence set him apart as truly original and independent voice in comedy.

As well as a strong career on the comedy circuit and a reputation as a comedians' comedIan Stuart is currently starring in a new short feature film "Snug as a Bug" with the multi-award winning director Louise C Galizia. Centring on the plot of two gentlemen; six floors up with a corpse, a rug that's too small and a van they haven't got - "Snug as a Bug" is in no way based on Stuart's life (probably).
