Steve Bull Swings His Support For Grand Theatre Golf Day ImageWolves legend Steve Bull is entering a team on behalf of his charitable foundation to support the Grand Theatre's inaugural Golf Day on Thursday 5th July.

The Golf Day, sponsored by PIA Wealth Management, takes place at Wergs Golf Club and will raise vital funds to support the continued operation and education projects at the Grand Theatre.

Steve Bull said: "The Steve Bull Foundation is dedicated to helping improve young peoples' lives, so we are firm supporters of the Grand Theatre's fantastic work in the community. The Grand's first Golf Day will be a great way to raise money for an important cause, so I hope you will join me on the course."

The Steve Bull Foundation has also supported the Grand Theatre's charitable activity this year with a £3,500 donation to support its upcoming education project An Introduction to Pantomime.

An Introduction to Pantomime is an interactive panto-themed workshop which will visit 20 primary schools around the West Midlands as well as two Acorns Children Hospices and two non-mainstream schools. Pupils will have the chance to learn about the history and cultural importance of pantomime in a fun and engaging way.

John Harrison, Fundraising Manager said: "We're delighted to welcome Steve to our Golf Day and are hugely grateful of the support his Foundation has given to the Grand Theatre. As a charity (charity no. 515154), the Grand Theatre's mission is to reach more people through the magic of theatre. Our education projects in particular inspire young people and engage with them through the wonderful world of theatre and the arts.

The Grand's inaugural Golf Day is a fantastic way to raise money to support these important projects and ensure we can continue to deliver these services and increase our impact. If anybody would like to join Steve and our other players on the day, please get in touch!"

There is a limited number of places available for the Grand's Golf Day. Individual entry is £75 with a 4 player team places available at £300. Prices include 18 holes of golf and a 2-course meal followed by evening entertainment by local comedian Jonny Cole. All proceeds will go towards supporting the Grand Theatre.
