An all-star cast will visit Exeter Northcott Theatre in October in the psychological thriller, Night Must Must Fall.
Starring Gwen Taylor (Barbara, Coronation Street and Heartbeat) and Daragh O'Malley (Sharpe), Niamh McGrady (The Fall, Holby City) and Will Featherstone (Fresh Meat, Ashes to Ashes), Night Must Fall was written by acclaimed playright, Emlyn Williams.
When charming, smooth-talking Dan arrives unexpectedly at old Mrs Bramson's remote woodland home he soon ingratiates his way into her life and that of her beautiful niece Olivia. But when a local woman goes missing and rumours in the press of a murder surface among the household, fingers begin to point. Has the past finally caught up with Dan and could he really be capable of murder? As the police close in, and with the press baying for blood, is anyone safe?
A co-production between Original Theatre and Salisbury Playhouse, Night Must Fall has all the tension, atmosphere and suspicion of the best British mysteries and will leave you on The Edge of your seat. It's frightening to think what a face can hide...Tickets

First written and performed over 80 years ago, Night Must Fall enjoyed immediate success in the West End, running for over 400 performances. Proving such a hit with audiences and critics alike, the play was adapted for the big screen in 1939 and again in 1964, starring Albert Finney and Sheila Hancock. Now in 2016, the classic murder-mystery will be thrilling audiences all over again when it embarks on a brand-new UK tour this autumn.
This new adaptation will be brought to the stage Original Theatre Company who last visited the Belgrade in 2015 with their adaptation of Terence Rattigan's Flare Path.
Night Must Fall will be directed by Luke Sheppard and designed by David Woodhead, with sound and music by Harry Blake and lighting by Howard Hudson.
The national tour is produced by Alastair Whatley and Tom Hackney for The Original Theatre Company and Sebastian Warrack for Salisbury Playhouse, in association with Eastbourne Theatres.
