Peter Huntley Productions and W14 Productions present AS YOU LIKE IT, by William Shakespeare. Directed by Derek Bond. The cast includes: Simon Lipkin (Avenue Q, Rock of Ages, I Can't Sing), Sally Scott (Sense and Sensibility, Watermill and Boeing Boeing), Steven Crossley (The Vertical Hour, Broadway, Measure for Measure, National Theatre and Complicite) and Harry Livingstone (nominated for Best Newcomer at the Manchester Theatre Awards for The Glass Menagerie) lead cast of brand new production of As You Like It this autumn. They are joined by Richard Albrecht (Paddington Bear the Movie, My Child), Dominic Gerrard (Propeller's The Comedy of Errors and A Midsummer Night's Dream) and Kaisa Hammarlund (A Little Night Music , Cabaret and Sunday in the Park with George, Wyndham's).

Run: Thursday 18 September - Saturday 18 October 2014, Monday to Saturday at 7.30pm with Saturday matinees at 3pm

A brilliant comedy about love, wrestling and sheep. Rosalind, daughter of a duke banished by his own brother, is forced into exile by her despotic uncle. With only her spectacular wit and her loyal cousin Celia and servant Touchstone to support her, she is forced to disguise herself as a man and enter the Forest of Arden searching for her father. When the love of her life, Orlando, also on the run in the forest, doesn't recognise her, Rosalind decides to teach him the truth about love.

Peter Huntley Productions is proud to team up with director Derek Bond after their award-winning production of Floyd Collins. With a spectacular new score by Jude Obermüller for actor musicians and a glorious design by Emma Bailey, As You Like It is set to be an enchanting evening in the theatre. The production will celebrate 450 years since Shakespeare's birth and will be suitable for adults and children alike.

Director Derek Bond's recent credits include Shiver by Daniel Kanaber, Lost in Yonkers by Neil Simon (Watford Palace), Microcosm(Soho Theatre), Floyd Collins by Adam Guettel & Tina Landau (Southwark Playhouse) which won Best Musical Production at the Off West End Awards and was nominated for Best Musical at the Evening Standard Theatre Awards. Derek was associate director at Theatre503 from 2010-2011 where credits included Many Moons and PLAYlist (Theatre503, Latitude Festival and Live Theatre Newcastle). Other credits include Saraband by Ingmar Bergman (Jermyn Street), Trying by Joanna McLelland Glass (Finborough),Girls and Dolls by Lisa McGee and Colourings by Andrew Keatley (Old Red Lion), African Gothic by Reza de Wet (White Bear) and The Wonder! A Woman Keeps A Secret by Susanna Centlivre (White Bear and Time Out Critics' Choice Season at BAC). Forthcoming projects include Little Shop of Horrors (Manchester Royal Exchange).

Designer Emma Bailey is an award winning set and costume designer for theatre, opera and dance. She has designed for Royal Opera House, Royal Shakespeare Company, Opera North and Sadler's Wells. Emma trained at the Motley Theatre Design Course and previously completed a BSc in Architecture from the Bartlett School UCL. She won the Linbury Prize for Set Design 2011 for the Royal Opera House Linbury Studio with Roy Orbison in Clingfilm.

Composer Jude Obermüller studied at the Royal College of Music and the Manhattan School of Music. Mentored by Stephen Sondheim and Scott Frankel he has just completed his Masters in Composition for Screen at the RCM which is supported by The Wayne Sleep Foundation. Previously at Southwark Playhouse Jude composed the score Farragut North. Other credits include Orchestrator/Musical Adaptor with Alain Boublil for 2012 revival of Marguerite (Tabard), Orchestrator for the album 'Encore!' (Studio 2 at Abbey Road), Frankenstein: The Musical (YMT:UK. Cochrane, London) and concerts The Songs of My Life (Garrick, West End), Brava (G-Live). His concert/choral works have received performances from groups including the BBC Singers, the London Sinfonietta Orchestra and the Orlando Consort.
