On Saturday 10 December at 6pm Soho Theatre will host a panel discussion entitled 'Has theatre gone too far?' inspired by one of the most controversial shows of 2011 Ontroerend Goed's Audience. Direct from its sell-out Edinburgh season and European tour; Audience makes its London premiere at Soho Theatre on Friday 09 December.
Ontroerend Goed is one of the most exciting international companies working today, pushing the boundaries of theatre form and convention, creating both shock and awe. Audience is about the audience, it is about people, making you question what you are watching or what you think you are watching. Is it theatre? Is it bringing to the forefront fundamental questions about humankind? Or is it a step too far?
With differing views and opinions on the show and company, the panel will include Time Out Theatre Editor Caroline McGinn, Telegraph arts writer Laura Barnett, BAC Artistic Director David Jubb and Nabokov Artistic Director Joe Murphy. The discussion will be chaired by Paul Warwick from China Plate Theatre.
Put forward questions for the panel on twitter #AudienceSoho
Audience is supported by Time Out Live.
Tickets for the 5pm show of Audience and panel discussion are £10 and can be purchased here:
