Pia Furtado directs Titus Andronicus, an exhilarating new staging of Shakespeare's infamous revenge tragedy, performed in the atmospheric urban surroundings of Bold Tendencies' multi-storey car park in Peckham.

Passionate and dangerous, this site-specific production is a fast-paced, high-octane, immersive joyride with movement from renowned choreographer Temujin Gill (London 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony) and some of the country's leading Parkour practitioners; a live beatboxed musical score by BellaTrix, (3-times world female beatbox champion) alongside a community chorus of local residents from South London.

Transposing Rome to the rough dystopian playground of urban London, Titus Andronicus interrogates questions of love, revenge and allegiance. This radical new staging takes a world beset by territorial wars to thrilling new heights set against the vertiginous backdrop of London's skyline.

Pia Furtado is the Artistic Director of The Theory of Everything. Her credits include Werther (Scottish Opera), Dirty Great Love Story (Soho, 59E59 NYC), Say it with Flowers (Sherman Cymru) and L'Elisir D'Amore (Holland park).

The cast includes Sunanda Biswas, Sonya Cullingford, Sam Griffiths, Nyron Levy, Milton Lopez, and Richard Pyros.

Titus is produced by The Theory of Everything in partnership with Bold Tendencies and Restless Buddha in association with Parkour UK.
