Sheffield Theatres are offering young people a brilliant opportunity to take part in a series of exciting theatre skills workshops in their two week Summer School running from Monday 25 July - Saturday 6 August.

A creative, informative and fun-filled way to develop knowledge and skills across all theatre disciplines, Sheffield Theatres' Summer School offers anyone aged 9+ the chance to immerse themselves in 2 weeks of activity designed to build skills both in performance and technical understanding of theatre. Participants will gain valuable experience, with the chance to take part in workshops and master classes with professional theatre directors and visiting artists.

For those who prefer to work behind the scenes, Sheffield Theatres are also offering a Technical Summer School course. Led by skilled theatre practitioners, this course offers hands-on insights into Lighting, Sound and Stage Management.

The Summer Schools culminate with the performance of a piece of theatre in the Studio, where all participants will showcase their performance and technical skills to an invited audience of friends and family.

Sheffield Theatres' Summer School is divided into three age categories; 9 - 12 years, 13 - 15 years and 16 years and above, and costs from £145 - £185. A limited number of subsidised bursary places are also available. For further information and booking details please go to:
