Shakin' Stevens to Visit Warrington Next Month

Rock n roll legend Shakin' Stevens is to grace the Parr Hall stage on his biggest ever UK tour.

The long list of shows was announced just days after the release of Echoes of Our Times, his critically-acclaimed 12th studio album.

The 33-date tour, which is visiting towns and cities across England, Scotland and Wales throughout 2017, will call at Parr Hall on Friday 19 May.

Known to millions as Shaky, the singer was the UK's biggest-selling artist of the 80s, and with 33 hit singles and four UK No.1s to his name, audiences will no doubt be in for a thrilling night as the Platinum-selling entertainer comes to town.

He will be performing new tracks from Echoes of Our Times along with classic hits including This Ole House, Green Door and Oh Julie. There'll be a few extra surprises too!

Speaking about the tour announcement Shaky said: "I can't wait to get back on the road and introduce the songs from Echoes of Our Times to people who have seen me perform in the past, and those who have not."

The tour will see the Welsh singer unveil another side to his talents as an artist, songwriter and storyteller through the new album, which blends blues, roots, Americana and classic rock and details stories from his intriguing family history.

The show is a remarkable musical tribute to Shaky's once mysterious past.
