September Listings Announced for Sweet Dukebox Events

The Sweet Dukebox (formerly the Dukebox Theatre) has announced its lineup for September. All events are 18+ due to licensing at the venue unless they specify otherwise.

Thursday 15th September - High Vis - (Theatre) Robert Cohen's critically-acclaimed drama about a parking attendant returns for one-night only!8pm, £6 (£5)

Saturday 17th Sept - Brighton After Dark - The Indoor Murder Tour Part I - (Indoor tour) Nick Richmond returns with more gruesome goings on in his popular indoor tour series. 7.30pm, £6.50

Tuesday 20th Sept - ACME - (Interactive game) - The newest game in the Eleven Tales of Intrigue series from Firecat Masquerade. Players must pitch their business ideas to the bosses in The Coyote's Den - will you be successful...? 7pm, £5 advance, £8 on the door

Fri 23rd-Sat 24th Sept - A Night at 64 Emptiness Lane - (Theatre) - New piece about making the first move on a first date, from up-and-company post-graduate theatre company Headdesk. 8pm, £7 (£5)

Wed 28th Sept - Wine, Women, and Richard Burton - (Theatre) - Musical comedy about wine and women, whilst Ted Hockin is haunted by the ghost of Richard Burton. You can even win a bottle of booze in the prize draw! 8pm, £5.

Fri 30th Sept - Sat 1st Oct - Cast Iron - (Theatre) - Another night featuring new short plays from local theatre-makers from our resident Dukebox drama group, Cast Iron. These nights are always popular so make sure you book in advance! 8pm, £5.

Every Sunday - Iron Clad Improv - (Workshop) - Weekly drop-in workshop with Andrew Allen, suitable for all, experience not necessary! Great for building confidence, making new friends, and improving your improv skills. 7-9pm, £7.

Every Tuesday - Gamie Lee Curtis presents... - (Games night) - Weekly games night, bring your own board games, or play some of our selection. Bring a friend, or make some new ones! Relaxed vibe and all welcome, no need to come at the very start! 7-10pm, £1 donation suggested.
