Sell a Door Theatre Presents Their Touring Production Of LORD OF THE FLIES

Sell a Door Theatre Company has announced their 2012 London and touring production of William Golding's classic Lord of the Flies, adapted by Nigel Williams.

Following their productions in Scotland and Wales last year, the tour will now visit venues in England from Liverpool, Manchester, Hull, Buxton and Lincoln down to London, Milton Keynes, Chipping Norton, Grantham, Exeter, Poole, Yeovil, Newbury, Worthing and Bishop Stortford.

As part of the three month tour, the production with play at the Greenwich Theatre in London for nine performances from 28th February to 4th March. The production will be directed by David Hutchinson and designed by Richard Evans.

Headlining the cast will be recent graduates Ben Wiggins (Motortown, 2011) and Dan Buckley (Spring Awakening UK Tour, 2011) as Ralph and Piggy respectively. Joining them on stage will be Mark Smedley, David Eaton, Michael Tantrum, Craig Webb, Matthew Crouzieres, Matthew Grace and Daniel Ash.

Artistic Director David Hutchinson says 'Lord of the Flies will be our longest running production to date, having enjoyed strong audiences north of the border before playing a few dates in Swansea and Norwich last year. We are delighted to be adding new theatres to our touring circuit, as well
as revisiting venues we toured Spring Awakening and A Taste of Honey to in 2011'

The tour kicks off on 4th February at the Grantham Theatre and runs until 28th April where it concludes at the Exeter Northcott Theatre.
