From today, July 3rd - 14th, the Second Skin Theatre presents 'Pigeon Man Apocalypse' by William Whitehurst, starring Mark Binet and directed by Andy McQuade, and 'The Horla' by Andy McQuade - inspired by Guy De Maupassant, starring Maud Madlyn, and directed by Second Skin Theatre's Associate Director, Liyu.

The Award Winning Second Skin Theatre presents two haunting and occasionally blackly humorous tales of dislocation, madness and liberation, side by side for a very limited run from July 3rd-14th.

'The Horla', inspired by Guy De Maupassant and readapted by Andy McQuade, tells the haunting story of one woman's battle with betrayal and a demonic creature that threatens her life and sanity. Starring Maud Madlyn as 'Isabelle'.

This will be followed by William Whitehurst's acclaimed 'Pigeon Man Apocalypse' which played to sold-out and enthralled theatres across the US. And was described by the London 'Times' newspaper as 'a fully-loaded fifty five minute missile: utterly mesmeric'

Telling the tale of Arthur Cork, a disturbed boy who inhabits a warehouse with only pigeons for company... and sustenance... and with a horrific story to be told.

New York-based actor -and Second Skin Theatre Principal Actor, Mark Binet brings the thriller to life, directed by Fringe Report 'Best Director, 2012' Andy McQuade -who originally performed the show in 2005.

Make your way down the wormhole of the White Rabbit Theatre for a double bill to thrill, disturb and most definitely ask uncomfortable questions about our own role and responsibilities with those society deems as insane.

Tickets only £10 : http://secondskin.eventbrite.co.uk. The shows run July 3rd - 14th, Wed-Sun 7.30pm - 9.30pm (Except Sat July 6th at 5pm) at the THE WHITE RABBIT THEATRE, 125 STOKE NEWINGTON CHURCH STREET, LONDON N16 0UH. Follow on Twitter @secondskintheat.
