Family relationships are explored in two shows at The Marlowe Studio, Canterbury, next month.

So It Goes is a true story about love and loss: Hannah has always wanted to talk about her dad. But in the seven years since he died, she hasn't quite managed it. Not one to be defeated, she's enlisted her friend David to help her on a journey through memory, laughter and sorrow, to finally come to terms with losing her dad.

Frank, funny and endlessly inventive, So It Goes explores the light and dark sides of grief. It is the debut show from On The Run, a new London-based theatre company presenting the work of Hannah Moss and David Ralfe. They make bold, visual theatre that is comic, touching and truthful. So It Goes premiered and completed a sell-out run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2014, receiving glowing reviews along the way.

Presented by Limb2Limb, Circles is an intimate tale inspired by the human struggle to simply let go. Told using physical theatre, storytelling and an immersive soundtrack, it promises an unforgettable theatre experience.

It's Saturday morning and the house is packed into boxes. Siblings Alex and Kate recount childhood memories and share their family history. But is everything quite as it seems?

Limb2Limb are a young and exciting London-based company creating dynamic, storytelling theatre using a unique mix of physicality, music and text. Like So It Goes, Circles was a big success at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2014.

So It Goes is at The Marlowe Studio at 8pm on Thursday 12 March; Circles at 2pm and 8pm on Wednesday 18 March. Tickets cost £12 (concessions available; booking fee applies) from the Box Office on 01227 787787 or marlowetheatre.com.
