Following his critically acclaimed West End concerts at the iconic London Hippodrome, award-winning musical director, pianist and singer Ross Leadbeater celebrates his musical favourites from The Great British Songbook - with a wonderful mix of timeless classics and some forgotten gems.
Ross will be joined by Special Guest Charlotte Jaconelli (From 'Britain's Got Talent' and 'Best Female Performance' nominee at Off-West-End Theatre Awards) for a 'glamorous night' at the St James Studio on Saturday 24th October at 8pm.
From Ivor Novello to Andrew Lloyd Webber, Lionel Bart to Leslie Bricusse with some Elton John, The Beatles, Queen and even Gilbert & Sullivan - there is something for everyone in this not-to-be missed opportunity to experience the massive hits and the lesser known songs from the Golden Age of Songwriting.
Ross Leadbeater's passion for the Great British Songbook has taken him from performing with Classical Brit-Award winning choir Only Men Aloud to a career as a musical director, pianist and vocal coach working with some of the country's finest artists and overseeing numerous projects throughout the UK and internationally in China. He regularly appears on BBC Radio 3's In Tune, BBC Radio London and recently on the BBC Radio 2 documentary Keep The Home Fires Burning presented by Don Black. His television appearances include The Royal Variety Show, BBC Proms in the Park and The One Show. He has performed in many of the major UK concert halls alongside artists such as Josh Groban, Bonnie Tyler and Katherine Jenkins.
Charlotte Jaconelli shot to fame on Britains Got Talent, as half of crossover duo Jonathan & Charlotte where they finished as runner-up and signed a multi-album deal with SYCO/Sony. With over half a million albums sold, over 250 million hits on YouTube, sold-out venues all over the UK, an ITV documentary, and more, last year saw Charlotte sign her 1st solo record contract with Sony Classical. Most recently, Charlotte has returned from the USA, where she performed in her Debut state side concert at 54 Below in New York City, for which she received great critical acclaim, and she is now currently featuring as a special guest on G4's reunion UK tour. Tipped as the UK's next big Crossover sensation, Charlotte is definitely one to look out for in the months to come.
