For one-night-only, on SATURDAY 28TH July 2018 at 7pm, Emcee Jake Hellier and the Royal Surrey Choir return to the stage for their 2018 Summer Charity Concert 'PROUD MARY: A Celebration of Women in Song' performing at the historic Holy Trinity Church (Guildford, GU1 3RR) to raise funds for The Fountain Centre, Surrey's leading charitable organisation providing advice, on-going support, community and complimentary therapies to the individuals and families of those whose lives have been affected by cancer.

Accompanied by Musical Director Matt Randall and his live band, the RSChoir will host an unforgettable evening commemorating the 100th year anniversary of Votes for Women in the United Kingdom, celebrating the great sacrifices and triumphs of the Suffragette Movement with a selection of show-stopping anthems from the world of musical theatre and film, and timeless classics from the great women of music who paved the way.

Featuring performances from critically acclaimed Olivier Award nominee Rosemary Ashe (The Witches of Eastwick, Phantom of the Opera, Sweeney Todd, Les Miserables), renowned West End vocalist Jamie Birkett (A Little Night Music, Rent, The Play That Goes Wrong) and the West End's original Motormouth Mabel from Hairspray, Ms Johnnie Fiori (Sunshine Boys, Episodes, Lost in London) the Royal Surrey Choir 2018 Summer Charity Concert promises to be a magical night to remember, raising awareness for equality, empowerment and freedom for those in need and supporting a cause we must never forget.
