Rogue Writers are delighted to invite you to our next evening of new writing on Monday 29h of March 2010 at the beautiful Canal Cafe Theatre in Little Venice. There are four pieces performed at our monthly Rogue Writers events, with each piece having a maximum length of fifteen minutes. Prospective writers pitch their work, and the best four for the night are selected by a panel. We then supply directors and actors from a pool of creatives if needed, making it one of the biggest and most inclusive new writing nights in town.

This will be our fourth event, and we are exceptionally excited by the response so far both to the new work and the night itself. Previous shows have been sell outs, with writers and directors from the shows also working with Contact Theatre Manchester, Stonecrabs Theatre in conjunction with the Albany Theatre, and The c*ckTavern (Nightsongs).

Artistic Directors: Hamish MacDougall, Cameron Harris. Producer: Alexandra Smith

Hamish MacDougall trained at Arts Ed drama school for 3 years, before becoming Literary Director at The c*ckTavern, and directing their recent production of Nightsongs.

Cameron Harris trained at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in acting, and was a founding member of Broken Tempo, an Arts Council funded new writing theatre company in Sheffield.

Alexandra Smith is the Theatre Manager of Canal Cafe Theatre, as well as being the producer for Rogues Gallery Theatre Company. Her recent successes as producer include the Jagged Fence production of The Hostage at The Southwark Playhouse.
