Rita Simmons to Lead SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS Panto at The Marlowe Theatre

RITA Simons, best known as Roxie Mitchell from EastEnders, stars in this year's Marlowe Theatre pantomime.

Joining her in Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs at the Canterbury venue is Phil Gallagher, Mister Maker from CBeebies, back by popular demand for the third time. Also returning are Ben Roddy (who will play Nurse Nellie) and Lloyd Hollett (Herman The Henchman).

Pantomime producer Paul Hendy said Rita is a strong addition to the established team: "People will instantly recognise her as Roxie but what they won't realise is that she has a strong song and dance background and is extremely talented. She's also great fun and even though she is playing the Wicked Queen, this will definitely come across.

"It's early days, but I can promise the biggest and best pantomime ever!".
