Tall Stories' hit family show Room On The Broom flies into Birmingham Repertory Theatre direct from a smashing West End season, bringing a witch, her cat, a dragon, a few friendly animals and much more from Wednesday 28 January until Sunday 1 February.

Join a witch and her cat as they fly happily along on their broomstick - until a Stormy wind blows the witch's hat, bow and wand away into the night! With the help of a daft dog, a beautiful bird and a friendly frog, her belongings are retrieved. But this broomstick's not meant for five and - CRACK! - it snaps in two! When a hungry dragon appears, who will save the poor witch? And will there ever be room on the broom for everyone?

Adapted by the award-winning Tall Stories from the best-selling picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, Room On The Broom is the quintessential family treat for everyone to enjoy. This Olivier Award nominated production brings the story to life for an unforgettable magical, musical adventure. With enchanting puppetry, original sing-a-long songs and scary fun, Room On The Broom is ideal for families with children aged three and up.

Tall Stories is a creative force whose credits include The Gruffalo, The Gruffalo's Child, Emily Brown and The Thing, The Snail and The Whale, The Snow Dragon and My Brother The Robot. For Room On The Broom the team includes director Olivia Jacobs, creative producer Toby Mitchell, designer Morgan Large, puppet designer Yvonne Stone, composers Jon Fiber and Andy Shaw (Shock Productions) and lighting designer James Whiteside. The cast of lovable characters are: Yvette Blutterbuck as the Witch; Emma MacLennan as the Cat; David Garrud as the Dog and the Frog; Daniel Foxsmith as the Bird and the dastardly Dragon.
