Alongside the Little Angel Spring Season for children and families, the theatre is hosting a series of events and shows for adults.
Highlights of the adult season include:
PUPPETRY PROVOCATIONS
Puppet Centre in association with Little Angel present two new discussion groups on 6 March and 1 May. Penny Francis MBE leads the first discussion on “The Puppeteer – Gifted Artist or Lowly Techie” and the second session tackles the important question “Is There a Future for Puppetry.”
Puppetry Provocations are open to the public (maximum twenty people at each) and cost £10 including refreshments (£5 students).
MATTHEW ROBINS brings exciting new work to Little Angel on 16 & 17 March when he and his band perform a new collection of stories, songs, short films and live animations.
RETURN TO SUSPENSE will give audiences a chance to revisit or see for the first time four of the top hits from the 2011 London Puppetry Suspense Festival: THE INTANGIBLE CITIES OF MARGHARITA MONTICIANO by Nutmeg; SPIRIT by Susan Beattie; JEW(ISH) by Eye Spy Arts and THE GREAT PUPPET HORN by Pangolin’s Teatime.
THE ADVENTURES OF THUNDER AND COAL by Nonesuch Theatre. Developed during Little Angel’s annual HATCH season with music by Ben Glasstone, who has provided inspirational live music for many of Little Angel’s shows over the past 8 years.
