Internationally celebrated all-male company Propeller, led by director Edward Hall, return to the Lyceum Theatre to perform Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale from Tuesday 31 January – Saturday 3 February following their productions of Richard III and The Comedy of Errors last year.

About the show: "Combining a rigorous approach to Shakespeare's text with an exciting, physical aesthetic, Propeller are renowned for engaging audiences' imaginations and bringing fresh understanding to classic plays."

"A tragic fairytale, The Winter's Tale tells the mysterious and extraordinary story of a man consumed by an inexplicable jealousy that destroys his family, his kingdom and himself. Wracked with guilt, Leontes sets off a chain reaction of events that leads to a miraculous climax and the chance of redemption. Highly acclaimed when it was first staged by the company in 2005, this is a chance for audiences to experience this sensational drama as the show comes to Sheffield."

Tickets can be purchased from Sheffield Theatres' Box Office in-person, by phone on 0114 249 6000 or online at sheffieldtheatres.co.uk and are priced from £13.00 - £25.00, with discounts available.
