"I'm a chemical engineer, and sometimes I play chess.
I'm still living with my mum.
She's nice.
Of course she's nice I spose, she's my mum.
Oh but I imagine there are mums that aren't nice out there.. there was this one boy at primary school I remember coming in with black eyes all the time because his mum was an abusive alcoholic..
Erm.."
New kids on the block 'Potter & Wagner' - recent winners of the New Diorama Theatre First Devised Show Award after their run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2017 - are returning to London for one night only with their anarchic debut comedy show 'Leaf.'
A show that catapults back and forth between storyline and sketch leaving its audience a wonderful mixture of thrilled and baffled, Leaf explores that dreaded feeling of social isolation we all know so well. A dark, fast-paced comedy that follows Mark the chemical engineer face a primary school class of children and live to tell the tale.
Potter and Wagner are an all-female duo passionate about creating work with new writing, devising and a good boogie. One Brit and one half-German, they endeavour to batter their way through all the cripplingly awkward troubles of the world to a soundtrack of self-composed tunes with a belly full of laughs...and potentially roast potatoes...
