Rehearsals are under way for Robin Hood: The Arrow of Destiny at York Theatre Royal, and BroadwayWorld has a sneak peek at the company below!
Richard Hurford's script puts a fresh twist on the legend of the Sherwood Forest outlaw Robin Hood in which it's left to Maid Marian to save the day. A show for all the family with songs, comedy, puppets and masks co-directed by SuzAnn McLean and Damian Cruden.
With an original score by Rob Castell, the show features Neil Reynolds (Robin), Siobhan Athwal (Marian), John Elkington (Sheriff of Nottingham), Ed Thorpe (Guy of Gisborne), Joanna Holden (Little John) and Trevor A Toussaint as Friar Tuck, plus a young company of 30 performers, aged 8 to 15.
The production opens August 4 and continues to September 2.
