The Old Red Lion Theatre presents Henry V (running in repertory with The Revenger's Tragedy) now through 29 September. Henry V officially opens tonight, 2 August. These productions are directed by the theatre's Artistic Directors Henry Filloux-Bennett and Nicholas Thompson respectively, with video design by Emil Charlaff, costumes by Mike Lees, lighting by Leo Steele, stage combat by Kev McCurdy and sound by Ella Wahlström. Associate producer, Thomas Moore. Get a first look at the cast of HENRY V onstage in the photos below!

A newly appointed leader guided by religious conviction. A threat to peace. A questionable case for war. Does nothing ever change? In this Jubilee and Olympic year, join the Old Red Lion for a radical new production of one of Shakespeare's most celebrated plays-a play synonymous with English patriotism. But at what cost? This production is a critical response to, and examination of the second Iraq war, following the recent Iraq Inquiry-set in a world of the 24-hour news cycle, political spin, prisoner abuse and UN Resolutions.

The cast for Henry V is as follows: Mark Field (Henry), Steve Fortune (Cambridge), Nicholas Kime (Dauphin), Jack Morris (Henry), Christine Oram (Chorus) and Henry Regan (Canterbury).

Henry Filloux-Bennett's directing credits include Wasted (Edinburgh Festival Fringe - Spectator Critics' Choice); The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) (New Red Lion Theatre - the longest ever running Off West End comedy play, nominated for Best Entertainment at the Off West End Theatre Awards 2012); and most recently The Importance of Being Earnest (Old Red Lion Theatre and subsequent transfer to the Theatre Royal Haymarket). As a writer credits include Wasted and the world premiere of the adaptation of Evelyn Waugh's Decline and Fall. As a producer Henry has worked for Bill Kenwright, High Tide, the Theatre Royal Haymarket and ITV Productions, as well as Arcade Productions which he set up in 2008. Henry joined the Old Red Lion Theatre as Artistic Director in May 2010.
