Photo Flash: First Look at Hackney Empire's PUSS IN BOOTS

Hackney Empire has just released production images of their 2013 pantomime, PUSS IN BOOTS. Kat B, Sharon D Clarke, Josefina Gabrielle and Stephen Matthews star in this year's iconic Hackney pantomime. London's No.1 pantomime will run to the 05 January 2014 with press night set for Wednesday 04 December, 7pm. Scroll down for a first look at the cast in action!

Puss in Boots is the iconic London pantomime written and directed by Susie McKenna, who celebrates her 15th Hackney pantomime this year.

When Thomas (Matt Dempsey), a poor miller's son receives a cat as his inheritance he sees no way out of his troubles, but luckily for him this is no ordinary cat. Join this cunning feline and his master on an adventure that takes them to the merry Kingdom of Hackneyonia E8, where Puss in Boots is determined to find wealth for Thomas.

The cast includes Kat B as Puss in Boots, Sharon D Clarke as Queen Talulah, Josefina Gabrielle as the witch Evilena andStephen Matthews as Dame Nettie Knowall. In true Hackney style this rarely performed classic Perrault pantomime has been reimagined for today's audience, packed with show-stopping songs, dazzling dance routines and side-splitting comedy.
