Albert Camus was a French author, and philosopher. His views contributed to the rise of the philosophy known as Absurdism. He was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1957 "for his important literary production, which with clear-sighted earnestness illuminates the problems of the human conscience in our times."
AM Media Productions Ltd presented the play, translated by Stuart Gilbert and directed by Stephen Whitson with designer Jenny Gamble, sound design by Tim Adnitt, lighting design by Phil Hunter and costume design by Ilona Russell.
The cast featured Jamie Birkett, Christina Thornton, David Lomax, Melissanthi Mahut and Leonard Fenton.
