27 Feb - 7 March, Tobacco Factory Theatres, Bristol
9 March - 12 April, Soho Theatre, London

Ollie and Jill want to tell you about their dream home. Some of the things they did to get it, you might find... shocking. But they want you to know - whatever they did - they did it all for their baby...

The new play by Time Out, Evening Standard & Critics' Circle Award-winner Philip Ridley, RADIANT VERMIN will receive its world premiere in spring 2015. The show will play Bristol's Tobacco Factory Theatres from 27 February - 7 March before a five-week season at London's Soho Theatre from 9 March - 12 April, with press night on Wed 10 March at Soho Theatre.

Playful and provocative, RADIANT VERMIN is a wickedly comic satire about a young couple offered a way out of the housing crisis, and just how far they're prepared to go to get the home they've always wanted. Tackling one of the defining themes of our generation in Ridley's uniquely poetic, imaginative and powerful style, it is also the first full-on comedy by the prolific, internationally-acclaimed maverick writer of The Fastest Clock In The Universe and The Pitchfork Disney.

RADIANT VERMIN reunites Ridley with the team behind Tender Napalm and 2013 Fringe First winner Dark Vanilla Jungle, both of which received national acclaim and went on to tour extensively, with the latter including a sold-out run at the Soho Theatre Upstairs in spring 2014. The team includes director David Mercatali - nominated for an Evening Standard Award for Tender Napalm and widely praised for new writing work including Anders Lustgarten's Black Jesus and the stage version of Dalton Trumbo's Johnny Got His Gun - and designer William Reynolds.

The production is produced by Metal Rabbit and Supporting Wall. Most recently, Metal Rabbit produced the nationally acclaimed Johnny Got His Gun (Southwark Playhouse and tour) and Fiesta (Trafalgar Studios). Supporting Wall previously produced Ridley's plays Dark Vanilla Jungle, Tender Napalm and Moonfleece, as well as the premiere of Timberlake Wertenbaker's Our Ajax (Southwark Playhouse), Chris Lee's Shallow Slumber (Soho Theatre), and the upcoming London premiere of BULL by Mike Bartlett (Young Vic).

Praise for Dark Vanilla Jungle and Tender Napalm by the same team:
???? 'Riveting... audacious' Independent (Dark Vanilla Jungle)
???? 'Bristling energy' Evening Standard (Dark Vanilla Jungle)
???? 'Viciously funny' Guardian (Tender Napalm)
???? 'Heart-stopping stuff' Times (Tender Napalm)
