DIRECT from the West End and Broadway, the feel-good international hit sensation Priscilla Queen Of The Desert is coming to The Marlowe Theatre later this month, beginning 23 Sept.

Winner of many awards, and based on the hit film, the musical is the heartwarming, uplifting adventure of three friends who hop aboard a battered old bus searching for love and friendship and end up finding more than they had ever dreamed of.

With a dazzling array of outrageous costumes, and a hit parade of dancefloor favourites (I Will Survive, Boogie Wonderland, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun), Priscilla Queen Of The Desert stars Noel Sullivan as Tick/Mitzi. The former Hear'Say singer has a long line of theatre, TV and recording credits to his name; he has just finished playing the role of Galileo in We Will Rock You in the West End. Richard Grieve plays Bernadette, while Graham Weaver is Adam/Felicia.

Among the awards the musical has won are four What's On Stage Awards, including Best New Musical, two Broadway World UK Awards, Best Costume Design at the Olivier and the Tony Awards, and Best Musical Of The Year at the Society Of Box Office Managers Awards.

Priscilla Queen Of The Desert is at The Marlowe Theatre from Monday 23 to Saturday 28 September, with performances at 7.30pm, 2.30pm (Saturday), and 5pm and 8.15pm (Friday). Tickets, priced from £20 to £40.50 (concessions available), are from the Box Office on 01227 787787 or at marlowetheatre.com. The show will be signed, captioned and audio described; call the Box Office or go to the website for details.

Parental guidance is recommended for children 15 years and under.
