Casting has been announced for Propeller's Pocket Henry V, a sixty minute version of their acclaimed 2011/12 production.

Oliver Wilson will take on the role of Henry V, with Neal Craig, Joseph Wilkins, Jonathan Christie, David Mara and Benjamin O'Mahony completing the company.

Propeller's 60-minute version of Shakespeare's Henry V will begin its UK tour at the Bonington Theatre, Nottingham, touring to schools, theatres and other venues around the country. It will also see the company visit Mexico and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

Pocket Henry V is part of Propeller's Pocket Propeller initiative, which started in 2009 with the international success of Pocket Dream - a 60-minute version of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. Other Pocket Propeller shows include Pocket Comedy (2012, a version of The Comedy of Errors) and Pocket Merchant (2013, The Merchant of Venice).

Pocket Henry tells the heroic tale of England's greatest warrior. Watch how Henry V prepares to lead England into battle against a mighty French opponent with his band of brave, loyal brothers. Sharp English weapons combine with Shakespeare's noble words to bring our history to life in this pocket-sized show for young audiences. In a world where loyalty and courage are put to the test, Will Henry V and England prevail and win the day?

Pocket Propeller is the ideal introduction not only to Shakespeare, but also to the thrill and excitement of theatre. It aims to deliver a first class theatrical experience in a compact but uncompromised 60 minutes. The ensemble creates a relaxed and engaging atmosphere in which to enjoy the performance, as well encouraging the audience to give a frank and uninhibited response in an open talkback session afterwards.

Meanwhile, the national tour of Propeller's hugely successful productions of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream and The Comedy of Errors continues in Sheffield this week.
