FacePlant Theatre are set to bring their family comedy One Duck Down toVaultFestival2018thisFebruary. Inspiredbythetruetale (featured on Blue Planet II) that saw 7000 Rubber Ducks cast adrift in a mighty storm. Jam packed with music, clowning and puppetry; suitable for all ages the show tells the importance of looking after our ocean and fearlessly following your heart.

Following FacePlant Theatre's hit halloween comedy The Service after its sell-out run at The Old Red Lion, One Duck Down will take audiences of all ages on a hilarious and action packed adventure to scour the 7 seas and make some startling discoveries along the way.

The production sees unlikely but loveable hero Billy venture to the ends of the earth to win the affections of his sweetheart, having been set the tremendous task of finding the elusive nautical treasure... Rubber Ducks?! Soon he is swept up on an ocean clear up adventure that would make David Attenborough proud, spanning from the quaint shores of Pebbleton Village to the icy north pole, from an exotic tropical beach to a floating island made entirely of rubbish. One Duck Down's set and props are recycled from the lost and found of rubbish both on land and at sea, all to create one eco-friendly family frolic.

Filled with songs and puppets sure to have families bobbing along, Billy's journey of discovery sees him meet the most unlikely of ocean dwelling creatures. From a rock'n'roll loving Polar Bear to the Pirates in Training, audiences will find themselves singing sea shanties for weeks to come.

Created for the stage by London based theatre company FacePlant Theatre, the show brings together creatives Alice Bounce, Owen Jenkins, Maxwell Tyler and Christa Harris whose recent work includes David Walliams' The First Hippo on the Moon , immersive whodunnit The Games Afoot, the award-winning 139 Copeland Road, and the critically acclaimed Marvellous Imaginary Menagerie.
