Not Going Out funny man Tim Vine will be bringing his unique brand of silly stand-up to Parr Hall next year.

The Sunset Milk Idiot tour, which visits Warrington on Thursday 1 March 2018, promises lots of silly jokes, new homemade props and the singing of daft new ditties, all with "the appearance of confidence".

Tim said: "The following subjects will be touched upon briefly: pixie football, ice cream and nibble feeders; so come along, sit down, and laugh.

"The quantity won't let up; this is comedy without a message.

The show will leave audiences thinking "what an odd person", "what a lot of nonsense" and "what else is he going to do?"

"Sunsets are in the sky, milk's nice and I'm an idiot," he added.

Tim appeared in five series of the award-winning sitcom Not Going Out alongside Lee Mack, played Beach the Butler in series two of Blandings with Timothy Spall and Jennifer Saunders, and has appeared on Live at the Apollo and QI.

A man of many talents, he has also won Celebrity Mastermind, hosted ITV game show Don't Blow the Inheritance, been a regular on Countdown's Dictionary Corner and appeared on Comic Relief takeovers of Fame Academy, Let's Dance and Let's Play Darts, as well as popping up on a Downton Abbey spoof.

On Celebrity Total Wipeout he fell off everything.

In 2010 and 2014 Tim won the Dave TV channel award for 'Best Joke at the Edinburgh Fringe', the only person to have won it twice; he has successfully toured all of his stand-up shows, with five accompanying DVDs under his belt and has released two books.
