Blow away those post-Edinburgh blues and get yourself along to Jam Bar (123 Shoreditch High Street, E1 6JE) next week to see the launch of the New Writing Festival.

Three evenings dedicated to new writing, providing a mixture of extracts and full length plays. Each night is different and promises to deliver fantastic writing, directing and acting from award winning participants.

Monday September 7: '5:30' written by Alistair McDowall and directed by Clive Judd.

Tuesday September 8: 'Under New Management' written and directed by James Leach, and 'Finding Michael' written and directed by Neil Hoskins.

Thursday September 10: 'Eighteen stupid reasons why I love you lots and lots' written and directed by Alistair Mcdowall.

And if you didn't think it could get any better - each evening is only £5 entry - or £12 for the three nights. Don't miss the opportunity to catch some of the best young talent around.

Doors open at 7.30pm. Tickets are available on the door. Cash only.
