SMOL & GINGER presents "JOB'S A GOOD'UN" at Camden Fringe Festival 2017, written and performed by Laura Taylor and directed by Rachel Lee.
"Since I was 11 I have done 11 jobs. I thought it would be fantastic idea instead of writing a CV like a normal person, that I would perform it..."
10 years. 11 jobs. Laura has done everything-from collecting glasses in a gangster-run bar in the midlands to arranging flower baskets for Eva Longoria. We have all had fun, crappy, random jobs at some point in our lives. What happens when you throw on stage all the job's you've had and turn it into a one-woman show?
Job's a Good'Un is a farcical re-telling of one woman's workplace woes. Join Laura as she takes us down memory lane, traversing through the ridiculous situations, the eccentric characters and the endless hours spent in the workplace. The show is semi-autobiographical, funny, relatable and frustrating (an incident regarding a vicious cougher at the Royal Opera House...).
Smol & Ginger is a dramatic duo based in South London. Like their namesake, one of them is small, one of them is ginger. They met while studying drama at Goldsmiths College and have been making theatre together ever since. They specialize in storytelling and turning the good, bad and terrible situations in life into delectable and witty stage material.
